HISTORY
Industrial
Supplies Company was founded in 1945 by Erwin Raichle, Sr. Mr. Raichle
created an organization that was built on integrity and whose growth was
assured by delivering “A Complete Service To Industry”. Rapidly
outgrowing the facilities in what was then the congested Kensington textile
section of Philadelphia, ISCO moved in 1957 to larger quarters in the
greater northeast area of the city where its expansion and growth have
continued. In
1966, a branch location began in Groton, Connecticut and today continues as
a primary supplier in the southern New England area.
In 1985, a second branch location was established in Fort Lauderdale,
Florida to serve the south Florida market. In
1989, Erwin Raichle, Jr. purchased the company from his father and succeeded
him as President and CEO.
ISCO enjoys continued success as a result of the commitment to
excellence by management as well as its talented, dedicated employees. Today, ISCO continues the tradition of delivering exceptional service to its customers in such diverse markets as: manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, defense, food processing, petrochemicals, metal fabrication, aerospace, automotive, utilities, transportation, marine and machine building.
